My family's love of horses and the construction boom brought us here in the late 80's, and both industries continue to influence me today. As a young adult I left home and experienced the thrills of New York City and the Tri-State Area; mid-west values and winter sports in Wisconsin; and the beauty and heritage of the low-country in South Carolina. In 2009 I returned to Ocala inspired by the many great things I had experienced. In 2010 I joined the City of Ocala team and spearheaded the development of the City's Cultural Arts Division, leveraging the arts as an economic driver for our community. Simultaneously I began acquiring residential real estate property investments for my personal portfolio. In 2016 I decided to pursue real estate as a full time career. My comfort level in working with tools, machinery, artisans, and tradesmen stem from my childhood years. My father was a general contractor who probably should have had two sons, instead of two daughters. As the eldest daughter, I spent many weekends, school holidays, and summer months on job sites helping with everything from surveying a future home's elevations to hanging kitchen cabinets.
